Since Christmas morning till now I have gotten around 8 to 10 inches of snow. I hope to get some funtime with the grandkids this weekend maybe building a snowman, making snow angels, or even a snowball fioght with them. Now the plows were working Christmas day but not a lot mainly due to not a lot of traffic out in my area. Well now they have been out since late last night working hard clearing the streets. I love watching the snow fly from the blades into the air onto the sides of the roads. I also love seeing the blades emit sparks when it hits dry pavement. But I really hate when just after I finish plowing my driveway they come by shoving it all at the end of my driveway. If it isn't cleared quickly it tends to get packed down making it hard to remove. So are their plows working in your area to clear snow yet? Have you any plans for playing in the snow? Hahahaha! Have you ever made a snow man? What's the biggest one you've ever created? Mine, a long time ago, was maybe 6 foot tall. getting the head on that thing was very hard. HAHAHAHA!!

I love the sow myself too. I even love driving in a snowstorm. Now my wife, she freaks the first time the tires spin on the snow. HAHAHAHA!! Luckily she doesn't drive at all.

I remember driving about 600 miles from Detroit to Montreal in a snowstorm and at night. The fun part is you never know if you are going to spin out and get lost over the side of the road and never be heard from again, or if you can make it to the next Tim Hortons for a coffee and a donut.

Sigma, I recall many years ago when mom was still alive, her & I drove to a casino at 3 a.m. on Christmas morning. It was snowing badly when we left. But it turned into a serious blizzard soon after. When we finally got to the Casino there wer very few cars but a few hundred snowmobiles. Hell, the plows were barely out on the State highway.

I have never made a snowman. I reckon I would get into it with the kids if I had a chance.
They would love throwing snowballs at one another.
I can just imagine you getting into that too.
All this clearing of snow must get to be a real nuisance at times.
We saw on TV here that there were some big snow storms in various places in the US.

We had the snowplows working on the 23rd, but not on Christmas Eve nor Christmas, but it is starting to snow already, so I might have to go and shovel the sidewalk again. Our main streets have been plowed, but we are on a side street and they do not do them that often. The neighbor has to use his snowplow to clear the streets. I have no intention to play in the snow, and the last snow man I made was years ago and it was higher than I was. I was not that tall when I was a kid.

Living in Seattle we rarely have much snow...but yesterday on Christmas day for the first time many can remember it snowed big white puffy flakes for a few hours...but the rains had fallen first and so in most areas it didn't stick..but it was beautiful to watch!!! I'm VERY jealous of your snow.. I LOVE it...I grew up in eastern Washington where it snowed a lot in the winter ( and fried you in the summer!!!:) and I do miss the snow...but here in Seattle people don't seem to know how to drive in it and since our city is built on 7 hills ( quite large ones) we have gridlock and many streets that have to be closed when it does snow...
You go out and make a snowman or a snow angel for all of us Seattlites that love the snow and don't get it!!!!
my biggest snowman/critter/person was in Wenatchee and it was about 6.5 feet tall..my dad tried to measure it and as I recall he stopped at 6.5 feet...we used a ladder and a lot of snow to build that guy...it is a wonderful memory!!!
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. I hope to get one made this weekend. I lived in Tacomah and when it snowed just an inch or less the roads and drivers were crazy. Out here I can drive in a blinding blizzard and do well. HAHAHAHA!!

Boy, you are really rubbing it in, aren't ya Grandpa Bob. -pouts- I want snow tooooooooo. :-(( I love making snowmen and angels but since Domingo thinks snowmen are a real threat to our family, we can't make them anymore in our yard. He finds them and barks his head off at em, eventually tearing them apart.

Ummm? Yeah! I am rubbing it in. Just for you though and not any other friends/members here. Here's another photo for your pleasure. HAHAHAHA!!! I'd love to see a photo of him ripping the head from a snowman. Too funny.

I would love to get a pic of him doing it but he does it whenever I'm not around. As if the snow people are coming to try and break into the house when we aren't home. My one neighbor came down to see what Dom was making such a fuss about one day few years ago to find him tearing apart 3 snowmen. There was nothing left but a pile of snow when we got home that day. Our daughter, who was only 4 at the time, cried her lil heart out over what he did.

Since I live down south the plows are silent right now. Sunday they had to be out. I like to play in the snow but can't remember how big my biggest snowman was. I take my granddaughter out and am teaching her things like how to make snow angels. You can keep the snow up North for right now if you want!
