Family ... How big is yours

Some years ago there was only one family concept ie a Joint family or Combined family, where each and every family member had equal importance and each member had a specific task to perfom. But now the very concept has lost its value. I am proud to say that in my house 10 people are residing. To make it clear.. my family of 4, my bro-in-laws family of 4 and my in-laws.
Can u share about your family and its members...
Isnt it nice to have a big family...

My family is quite huge. I have three sisters, one older two younger. I also have two brotheres. And finally, to complete it, I have a mother, and a father, along with three dogs. My family is quite the big one.

It used to be fun being in joint families.I come from a family of five brothers and sisters.My husband comes from a family of seven.As kids we did enjoy it.Then after we all got married we all moved into our own families.Its very rare that we all get together.Our children will never know what it means to us as they have not experienced it.I just have one son who is away working in a different place so that leaves just the two of us alone.

I come from a family of 8 kids. It was great when we were young. We never got bored, there was always someone to play with. My hubby comes from a family of 6 kids and the same for them, always some one to play with. We traded clothes down the line as we grew out of them.
Now as adults we are all very close. We all have two kids each except one of my brothers, doesn't have any. Our kids are all close to each other and hang out together. They are all adults now too and only one has a child of their own. It will be exciting when they all have kids because then there will be kids in the house at christmas time again.
