Canon 400D / Nikon D40X / Sony A100 which one should i buy ?

i want to buy a DSLR camera, there are 3 on my list. can anyone tell me which one should i buy ?

I don't have my own camera as of yet (a nice one anyhow) but I have done the research. I would suggest a Nikon. Its one of the most popular among professional photographers, and has been around for years. I have played with one a few times and have to say its easy to use, and I love it! I want one of my own so bad!

thanks for that, i feel the same, but Nikon is little more expansive than others :( i have to think it over again. ~

Its definatly worth it. They last you a long time and if you take care of them they rarely have any problems.

I just got the Nikon for Christmas, and I love it! Not only can you use settings that are as simple as aim and shoot, but you can also use different settings for special effects. I haven't had a SLR camera since my 35mm (yep with film), and I am loving this one! My s/o other really knew how to surprise me for Christmas!
