Have you promised yourself something?

When I was younger and was pretty geekier, I promised myself not to forget the trigonometric expressions and other stuff in higher math because I wanted to teach my kids how easy math can be. I also promised myself not to forget about my siblings' birthdays because I find it crappy when parents and siblings tend to forget a family member's birthday... Well these are few things I have promised myself, and I am scared that I failed on the math part because I feel like I am not as sharp as before and that I have to review my math. Grrr...
And now, I think my elder brother is crappy because he has forgotten one of his siblings birthday, and he never even greeted nor called me... GRRR!
Anyways, just a reflection. So what are the things you have promised yourself ages ago?

I promised myself to be strong for my child. I promised myself that I will give him the best education when he grows up.

I often make promises when I'm angry or hurt. Well, those sort of promises are really things that I should forget... however, there are promises that I should keep like going to the office on time or ahead of schedule... I should allot an hour and a half as travelling time but I always end up leaving our house 30 minutes before 8:00am. Well, next year, I'll try again, but this time I have a plan... get an apartment nearer to the office... or find a job nearer to our place. hahaha...

I give myself too many promise when I was young.
And most of them I did not make it.
So, I wanna make any promise to myself if I can not to make it.
