How much is the level of comfort with high heeled shoes. I for one can only wear them if I dont have to walk much. Even a 2 inch heel makes me uncomfortable. I have always wondered if it is only me or others too, and if others do feel comfortable with high heels.

i have a 3-inch high-heeled shoes but i only use it once in a while. i can last for a day and be comfortable with it. i don't buy shoes that i am not comfortable. but as i've said, i only use it once in a while. i can't use it for a few straight days because it would hurt my feet so much! ^__^;; even my 2-inch heeled shoes, i only use it like 2 to 3x a week.

Being able to wear them comfortably for a day is great. Do you have branded shoes. I suppose they make all the difference. Have a wonderful 2008

I love high heels. As far as pain levels, it really depends on the individual shoe; all shoes are different shapes. But for the most part, idon;t really care about it, because I'm an aspiring model. ;]

I think if shoes are branded, then the level of comfort should be much much more. Being a model, you will have to take more care to see that the muscles of your calf dont bunch up. All the best.

I have never bought really expensive shoes, so maybe that is why I have never really been comfortable with high heels. I too love the heely sandles and shoes. Maybe I will save for very good expensive heeled shoes. I will only know the difference then. Actually I too am just 5'2" tall.

I have always envied the ladies who carry themselves off so gracefully with stilettos. I can never manage with it, like you have said. I feel uncomfortable and later on my shanks and heels ache like anything. Even good brands would not work okay for me. So, I have aborted the idea completely and wear flat shoes all the way.
Thanks.

My high heeled shoes are only for weddings and functions. Otherwise I am very comfortable in flats. So I'll stick to them too. Thanks for replying. Have a nice day.

I wear high heeled shoes all the time, and find them very comfortable. Up until recently, I didn't even own a pair of flat shoes (just bought a pair of flats a month ago). My heels are usally between two and three inches high. I guess I'm just really used to them. I find them extremely easy to walk in.
Although I have tried on a couple of uncomfortable pairs. I find that the really cheap heels are uncomfortable. The more expensive, well made shoes are very comfortable. But if you don't like heels or don't wear them often, then they're probably all uncomfortable (regardless of the price and quality).

Actually what you say makes sense. I must save and buy some really good branded shoes. Then maybe I will be comfortable. I love heels, but maybe My choice of shoes is wrong. Will try to rectify it and let you know. Have a wonderful 2008
