For me, they can. Why? Because at the time when the meteors hit the earth, not all dinosaurs are outside or are capable of being hit. Therefore, there can be places where there where able to hide or even under the sea. The whole surface of earth is yet covered with humans or not even discovered yet... So, do you agree with me...???

I want to agree with you completely and absolutely- I have never been convinced by the reasons being adanced for the disappearance of dinsours. Surely how could this fateful meteorite have targetted where the Dinosours were living only. God was very wise in the distribution of creatures over the earth-You can not just finish them with one killer blow-If the Dinsours were in Mexico, there should have been another species in the Sahara or in the Euphrates and Tigris water shade-how could they have been in only one place? Just like there are talks of walking Giants today that have not been discovered, i feel there are Dinosours lingering somewhere undiscovered-you have brought a very nice post acatantan!

I actually think that lizard can be a type of dinosaur, but it is just smaller. And the world is still so large and perhaps some dinosaur can live in the deep ocean.

Ofcourse they still can excist.Better said a crocodile and a snake and some other species are related to the dinosaurs. We can see them as family from the dinosaurs we just call them raptiles. In fact there has been a program about dinosaurs which has been found on an island.Just small ones. But it's a start.

They could still exist, but for the most part they were wiped out. Also consider the environment was quite different in the Mesozoic Era. Higher temperatures, about 11 C higher than present day. Higher carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere and more importantly, higher oxygen content (about 30-35% oxygen in total atmosphere compared to present day 21%). These are serious climate issues and lifeforms evolve and adapt to specific conditions. Remove or suddenly change the conditions and many of the lifeforms die out (as was part of the Cretaceous extinction). It is possible there are some lifeforms deep beneath the sea or very deep underground. Of course the chances are rather slim, but the possibility lingers.

I have to agree with you to some extent...since you are absolutely correct in saying much of the world is undiscovered yet. They are still finding plants, flowers, animals, that they thought were extinct, and I find that very fascinating. I'm curious about what is beneath all the snows and glaciers, like what kind of bones will they find?..or a preserved dinosaur?....wouldn't it be cool?, lol! In some sense I hope the dinosaur, if there are any alive, keep hiding because I feel man is a destroyer, and will kill it to prove it existed....we are still barbaric.

Well, thank you. But, it will not be easy if a dinosaur will pop up because it will surely shake the whole world...

Actually, there are some dinosaur like creatures that still thrive in different parts of the word... the comomo dragon and even the iguana are some of them... they are not the giant like dragons because they are no longer the dominant species... The cause of the dinosaur being extinct is still under study... but i think they are still here but in a much simpler, less complex form... evolution has its own way of changing the creatures on earth...

Yes, you have a point but let us consider the creatures beneath the sea... like the lochness monster, it can be a dinasaur, water type, that can still exist today...

I very much agree that dinosaurs could still exist today. I think they would be different than they were millions of years ago, but everything is different. One thing that I think about is the fact that we do not know for sure the things we have discovered about dinosaurs. We were not there to study their behaviors, we are only guessing based on the clues we have. I really think some of the animals we see today are directly related to the dinosaurs.

Yeah, well pretty good answer. I can say that many of the animals today are related to dinosaurs, especially reptiles. What i can say is that my mind is really searching for what is the truth of our world but sad to say that nobody can answer me except for God Almighty...
