Does your sponsor really care?

I joined some programs months ago that was recommended by a member here in mylot. After I joined I sent him an email to let him know I was now in his downline. I even gave him my private email address so he could get in contact with me. I have since sent more emails asking about the help he talked about that he gave the people "on his team". I'm sure you know who I am referring to as some of you are in the same programs and joined using his referral link. Well, months have passed and I am still waiting to hear from him. Does your sponsor really care? Does your sponsor get in touch with you at any time at all? Are you a good sponsor or do you just forget about the people "on your team".

There are only a few of my programs where I will get the person's email address that signed up under me. I try to send them a welcome email and encourage them to contact me with any questions. Only a couple have written back and I've done all I can to help them. I don't bother those who don't write back because I don't want to infringe on their privacy. I'm just days away from starting my own site so I hope that I can continue to give good service to hundreds as I have to my few so far.

I know exactly what you mean and it's the reason I do not join under anyone unless I know them personally.

I've undergone the same thing. I joined some site under a person on myLot and then needed some help coz I didn't understand how to go about things and I sent them a message..and it's been months. I think they only need some referral so that they get the money. I'm not anyone's sponsor..so I have nothing to worry about.

I have a "list" as they call it and when it out grew my mail box I got a free website, put a lot of free software and e-books as well as some reports for them to download and use to earn more money. I sent the link to everyone on my list. This free website has some good stuff that can be used to help them get more people to visit their blogs and websites. I even give rebates to the ones who join some paying programs that I have found that were good. I wouldn't dare risk my reputation by telling anyone I would work with them as a team and then ignore them after they have joined a program I ask them to.

There are 2 people here who I am a downline to and one is very helpful and I know she cares.. The other one, when I e-mailed him,(maybe the same guy?), to not only let him know I signed up, but also had a question which never got answered.. As for myself, I do care and even send messages once in a while, except all my referrals are inactive..

That's why I like to keep in touch with my downline to keep them motivated.

Well people like that you don't need. I have a few that were like that so I quit contacting them. Hey, it's their lose not mine!

I do, I have either met them on myspace or yuwie and have kept in touch, but I also don't want to be pushy either. So I contact them about every couple weeks or so, see if they need any help. Last time I got no reply from the message, at least a couple replied back at first that they have been busy, but now I am getting nothing..

I joined hits4pay under they guy your talking about (not much of a buddy) and I make payout every month there with all my referals, so I know I am making him good cash a month just from me. Yuwie is his new thing and all his eggs are in one basket now... As far as me being a good upline, I am not sure, I try to be helpful when I can, but feel that other than the basics of any program, it is all on you.... Once you get the basics down, you can forget a mentor.. unless you produce mass referals that benifit them, they do not care about your success... I hope every one has success under me, but I know, many will not work as hard as me at some things... On the other hand, a proffesional relationship with an upline or downline member is great, I am in close contact with a few and we share ideas and join each others programs to help each other out, if you have 100 referals in something, maybe two of them will turn out to e "partners" and you can mentor each other, find out on your own what works and what does not... And kowgirl, I know somewhere down the line I am a member of one of your programs or you are a member of mine hahaha.

I feel I am a VERY good sponser. I send emails to EVERYONE on my referral list who have signed up for CashCrate. I let them know of new things I have discovered that my help them earn money. When they email me to ask a question, I don't send them to the FAQ, I try and answer it myself. I have 3 referrals for MyLot and I respond to every single one of their discussions no matter what. They all three stopped posting but, I still feel like I did everything I could to help them earn money. However the person who referred me here and to CashCrate has not helped me one bit!

I would think you are a very caring sponsor because you are a very caring person. Not many people would have endured what you have and still stand strong. I have read about you and your family. I am so impressed with what you and your husband have done. I know your son must mean the world to you both. Anyone who has you as a sponsor should be happy.

Hmm. Perhaps the person who referred you probably isn't active in mylot.com anymore? I'm not sure, and can't speak for him either. I don't have anyone on my downline since I'm too lazy to get referrals, so yup. But if I did have people I know whom I have referred, I'll probably just drop them a message once in a while to ask them how they are doing. :) I think it's just basic courtesy.

i will admit, i have had that problem too. but not lately. i don't know who your sponsor is or what program you joined, but i know that i am working on building a whole business just on this topic. I think that is the biggest problem why people who sign up to things don't make money. because they sign up and the person who talked them into it, just go missing in the wind. my company is all about being there for people who join. let them know what is going on, how to work the programs, and how to teach those they sign up make money too. it's a shame that this happens because there is money to made

i don't think any of my referrers contact me, well except for my TreasureTrooper and SwatCash one, otherwise i figured most of it out on my own. I try to be a good referrer, i have made my own website to refer people to and provide help there as well. I also put a AIM box in the contact section so that they can contact me quickly and I can give them one on one help, and it seems to be faster than email. initially if they need help they can refer to the Faq's and Tips sections, but I do try to make myself available for all my referrals. I do have a referrer that tries to be helpful but sometimes totally misses the question I am asking, and gives me an answer to a different one, but I guess at least he tries.

I try to help out the people I sponser as much as I can on sites that allow me to contact them. Some sites don't give you information or a method to contact your downline with. If someone asks me for help then I do my best to help them out with whatever they need.
