Beat the high cost of dying while you are still able

I read that people can beat the high cost of dying by buying their own box (casket) online. There is supposedly a good range of prices and bargains are still available. I think that buying and storing one's own box is a hoot. It's quite a conversation piece all right. But as the article stated, the box can be used as an icebox of sorts in the meantime. As for myself, I intend to bypass expensive traditional funeral and request that I be cremated immediately. That way, my family, or what is left of it, will be able to focus on my life instead of all of the money spent/wasted on a traditional funeral and literally buried in the ground with the deceased. I mean, what's the point?

Personally I want to be cremated and then buried with my Petey's ashes. He was my dog and best friend and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have in the ground with me. :) **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

That is just to creepy for me. I am going to be cremated, with a small service only. I cannot see taking up a space in the ground, with so many other people. By the time that I die, there will be no room left for anyone.
