English grammer plz help me

Is this sentace is right "I had had my dinner last night before he came" Can we use had had together.

You do not use two 'had' next to each other in an English sentence. Only one is needed, so the sentence would be, "I had my dinner last night before he came"

No ! One time is enough...You would say it this way.I had my dinner last night before he came...you would not would not want to use had twice in this sentence...
