This is either too funny or pathetic. What do you think?

This fellow has to cut down trees anyway. So, he found a way to make extra money doing his job.
For those people suffering from 'small carbon footprint envy' he will kill a tree in your name for a fee. He calls this purchasing a carbon debit. This is to cancel out carbon credits. He also has t-shirts, bumper stickers, and certificates.
What do you say? Is this man too funny or pathetic?

I think it is funny, and an appropriate response to Al Gore's ramblings.
If he does it right, maybe he too will rake in millions and billions over the man made global warming hoax.

He is one smart guy. I think it is more likely he might make a few thousands, but hey, that's more than I'm going to make off global warming. Let's see, at about a penny per post.....

This carbon credit thing has gotton way out of hand. People in the third world are paying the price for our greed. And there is no way of truly finding out if these supposed tree plantings are actually happening.
As far as this credit killer fellow, well, he is definitly getting a lot of attention which is probably all he wanted anyway. Oh, yeah, wait, he is getting money too. That must be the real motivation for all of this!
Yeah, he is funny like a fox. He doesn't care about Gore or the carbon footprint or lack thereof. He is interested in green footprints alright. The ones with Washington and Jackson on them!lol

Carbon debits are the ultimate way to make fun of the absurd carbon credits. By making a profit ridiculing them!

I have a lot of respect for Algore, especially his recent very telling documentary on global warming, I saw a pack of ice simply come to rabbles as the most glaring evidence of global warming so far! He got an Award, those who gave him this Prestgious Nobel Prize are not fools I reckon-now about this man with his so call debit credit, I consider him and his cohorts, Pathetic Clowns!

I cant decide. I'm sure there are actually people out there who will buy this. Either people who hate Al Gore or for their tree hugger friends as a joke. If this is legitimitely cutting down tress doesn't he also have to plant trees? I guess then he could offer oxygen credits to the Liberals and really make a bundle.

I don't know about whether this fellow has to plant trees to replace ones he cuts down, but I can address my own situation.
I cut trees every year. I burn them in my wood stove to heat my house. I own 20 acres of which about 13 acres are trees. I've lived in the same place since 1981. The areas I first cut down have grown back naturally already.
If I live here forever I will not ever get all my trees cut down as they grow back faster than I use them. Additionally, there is no law requiring me to plant trees I cut down for my own personal use.
BTW: Anyone suffering from 'small carbon footprint envy' may feel free to send me any amount of money they think is appropiate and I'll cut down a tree so they can feel they are as wasteful as Al Gore or anyone else. Long live carbon debits.

I chuckled here and there. I probably wouldn't do something like this but whatever to what he does. And of course, I know what would REALLY cut a whole in natural carbon consumption and oxygen production... and what this guy is doing ain't it.
