Do you buy paperbacks or do you prefer e-books since they cost cheaper? In my case, I borrow books from my friends and co-workers. Of course, I return them on time and in good condition.

Hi my friend, i am reccomending you to read A purpose Driven LIfe, it is a very good and you will learn so many things here. A purpose driven life has sold 25 million coppies and it is the best selling hardback book in American History. Rick Warren is the author of the book.

I've just started reading Wilbur Smith's books, and find them quite entertaining. He's written so many, that I can't name them. But a good second-hand bookshop should stock them. I also enjoy Johnathan Kellerman's books a lot.

I read so many different genres of books. As long as if they sound interesting to me, then I will pick it up. I perfer paperbacks. I use a site called paperbackswap.com that lets me trade all of my books (paperback, hardback, and audio) with other members. Then I can get a book that I want from another member. I am just trading my books. I love it. I just recently read the new steve martin book Born Standing UP. That was a good book, it tells you how he started in stand up. A really good memoir, if you enjoy reading those. :)

I don't know if these are your type of books but I'm a big fan of Mario Puzo (The Godfather, Omerta, The Last Don, and other old school mafia books). I've never been disappointed by Puzo.

my favorite books are non fiction books that teach you more on a subject...i like to learn or listen to other people's perspectives. I don't really have any favorite authors who are not young adult writers...i could list tons from that fiction category, but you're probably not into that much! I can't say i am either anymore! Do you have a public library near you? I LOVE the library...I will just walk down the aisles looking for stuff...our library also lets us request materials from different libraries, so I can look on their site and find just about any book I ever thought about buying or reading. Second hand thrift shops, flea markets, and yard sales are also great ways to find cheap books - usually you can get several for less than a dollar. There are also some really neat sites (yeesh, i feel like i am writing you a book just in my answer, lol!) where people swap books: www.paperbackswap.com - do a search for others - just type book swap. happy reading!

usually i like buying readers digest paperbacks, and bob ong books... most of the books that i've read comes from my auntie, she send many books for me, she said that it was from her friends... instead of throwing the books to garbage they decided to give it to her and she send it to me...

I dislike ebooks since they are hard to take with you to the bath or bed. Audio books are nice, but I still prefer my books with pages I can turn. I am going to recommend Charles de Lint, Kim Harrison, Eric Flint, David Weber, Michael Flynn, Patricia Briggs, Rachael Vincent, Harry Turtledove, Harry Harrison, John Scalzi, Robert Sawyer, and Stephen Baxter to just name a few.
