There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, exept her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything including her boyfriend. He boyfriend asked her, " Now that you can see the world, will you marry me? " The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him.
Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying.... "Just take care of my eyes dear". I'll always love you forever. Isn't it a lonely story? Now tell me, WHat kind of LOVE is this?

this is not love , coz girl was selfish . when u love someone it dose not matter how he/she , how much money , or looks . all these thing never matters. when girl got pair of eyes and she see that her boyfriend was blind so she thinks that , now she can see then , she may find someone who can see.
and if its can go other side tht may be boy lied her that he can see and when girls start seeing everything , she found that boy was lier

Maybe my english is not so good, but the boy didn't lie to her, he could see and he gave her his own eyes and the crazy selfish girl left him for being blind! She should return those eyes and go live in a cave in the end of the world!

this is a powerful story. i am moved by this. what kind of love? i think it is love for self that causes the girl to change her mind about marrying her boyfriend. in other words, the girl does not have love for her boyfriend. she might have felt closeness to the man but it was not love. for love trancends physical appearance. when one sees the beauty inside the person, then that is love.

This story says love is not blind!but lovers are blind.see if love is blind the girl could marry the blind man! but the didnt! when she open her eyes she realize it was not love !love was there coz she was blind!!!

I already responded to this but my internet its kind a slow and cut me off. Anyway the story is very touching, it makes my heart beat a littlebit faster when I found out that the eyes belong to her boyfriend. Which she promise to marry but turns bad in the end. So Sad, The story kinda sad and touching. I love the story, But i hate the Girl shes not the kind of girl that can keep promises. One more thing she don;t deserve the eyes. Her love to that guy is not real. oh! so sad poor guy...

Oh WOW...that is absolutely amazing and heartbreaking all at the same time. He loved her that much to give her his eyes and then she does that to him. I can't believe that, i am in total shock at this moment. How could she be so foolish and so selfish as to not notice that he gave her what she dreamed of because he loved her that much and then for her to throw it all away over that. That is just so insane to me. I feel so sorry for that man because not only did he loose the love of his life, he also lost his eyes to the love of his life. I pray for that man. May God bless him in ways he never thought possible. God bless and thanks for sharing this story.

Not a problem. I love posting here on mylot and take everyone's discussions very seriously. She may not have really loved him, but she should have let him know that or gotten rid of him before he made that awesome sacrifice. To give up your sight for the one that you love is not something that just anyone would do. It takes a special person to do something that awesome. He is truly an amazing man and there is someone out there that will truly love him and respect him. God bless

I guess this is the ultimate proof that love really is blind. So blinded was the guy that he gave both his eyes. If he only donated one eye, both of them would not be blind because then they would be able to see eye to eye. It's a case of an eye for an eye.

Yup my point exactly. Why did he gave both his eyes, when he could have "shared" only one, at least they would both could still see. But then again, the girl in her selfishness, wouldn't "see" her BF's generosity even if he'd given just an eye, because she would probably complain why only one eye was donated. It's an amusing story, it's sad but I bet it isn't true. If it were then I'd like to meet that girl and give her an "eyeful". Just my thoughts.

The girl was selfish. The guy was giving a true love. Imagine giving up his eyes for the girl. Oh.. let me kick the girl for leaving someone like that. If I had a bf like that I'd marry him even if I don't see the world. Men like those are rare.

A sad story! Love is not like that in my mind. But I guessed the pair of eyes are from the boy's when I read that the girl got a pair eyes donated from someone.

This certainly ISN'T love....if the girl really loved he boy she would stay with him even he had cancer or a handicap or something...but I loved the story though.....sad..but fascinating

I believe its' what they call "Selfless love" on the part of the guy. He was willing to give up his own world (his whole eyesight) just to make her girlfriend happy. For me this is one of the deepest kinds of love man can have. To give up something very important for those you care the most. Only problem is that, somehow her girlfriend was pretty much selfish. Selfish in a way that she got blinded by her newfound world, her new found vision.... I really feel sorry for the guy because, even though he's given a very important thing to make her woman happy, it still wasn't enough to make her marry him....
