I’m thinking about is using Craigslist to make money online. I have sold a couple of items locally on there, but I’m thinking of a bigger picture. I want to sale things like my art and services not just locally but in several cities and states. The problem is you can’t do the same listing more than once, even if it’s in a different city or state. But I have found that there are ways to get around that problem. One thing you can do is to create multiple accounts, there is nothing in their Terms of Service that says you can’t. Just create email accounts at Gmail or Yahoo. You can then post the same listing in several cities. Another way that I figured out is to change the wording in your title and content a little. I hope this helps if you want to try making money on Craigslist.

I've never tried using Craigslist for selling my items. I might have to consider it to help promote my items from my online shop. I have been told not to include a link to my shop, but I can use Craigslist to find customers that I can later promote my online shop to. Thanks for the ideas...great thread!

These are good ideas. I have sold a few items on Craigslist.Never really thought about using it in an ebay fashion. Hopefully using these techniques will work for you. A few people here have told me it's a good place to find real work from home employment. Good luck with your art.

Thanks it'll keep some of those eBay fees off me.

Craigslist is so very useful and focusses on the local community. I have bought, sold, made friends, and found tenants for my rental property on Craigslist. It is a wealth of information for the community. I hope more northwest Florida residents will discover this tool.
