Nokia 5310 reboot problem

I just got my hands on a Nokia 5310 Music Express a few days ago, pretty happy with it, until I realized that it started to reboot itself when I was playing music.
The forums are saying that converting all your mp3s to aac format will solve the problem, but others disagree. Does anyone have a solution?
