What's YOUR New Year's resolution?

I've decided to make one small resolution and one big one in 2008. The small is that I want to lose 10 lbs. It's easily do-able, but I've become quite sedentary over the past few months and I'm not eating well like I used to. The second is that I finally want to quit smoking. A good friend of mine went to a hypnotist's stop smoking seminar in March and hasn't smoked since, and I've spoken to other people who had friends who also attended his seminar with great success for smoking and for weight loss. What about you? Did you keep yours last year?

My new years resolution is to be a better person. I used to do alot of community service and things of that sort last year but over the second part of the year I started to slack off. I want to keep up with my community service and even do more by becomming a big sister in the big brother big sister program.

My New Years Resolution is to better myself and society by way of charity work and other things. The reasonw hy I would liek to do that is because I figure that if I can better my community, then maybe, then maybe the communities around me will follow suit and soon begin to better themselves as well. Another thing that I would like to do as my New Years Resolution is to simply learn to find time to relax and enjoy the simpliar things in life. With school being a big part of my life as of now, it would be good if I could just learn to not take things so seriously all of the time.

I have already lost 25 pounds and hoping to lose another 20 so I reached part of my goal. I am hoping to lose it before April when my sister in law gets married but we shall see. I will try my best thats for sure. I have not set any other New Years resolutions as of yet.
