A big old nasty pile of rubbish

I went to see AVP2 last night and was mightily disapponted. It was just plain horrible, save for some nice gore effect in the final few minutes. This is the second disappointment in as many weeks as "I am Legend" also sucked, IMHO. Can anyone recommend something decent that is playing right now?
