My new avatar!

Isn't it cute! It's supposed to be a fire fox which I think is appropriate lol. I just had trouble choosing between two photos. So I'm posting the other one here to get your opinions.
I like the one I have as my avatar as a photo, I'm just wondering if it's a little more "in your face" than my personality really is...and I'm not sure if that would be a good thing or a bad thing lol!
The other photo is pretty cute too and was my first choice until I saw the one I ended up using. It looks quieter and softer to me, which again I'm not sure if that would be a good things or a bad thing!
So let me know what you think of either photo...
And do you think it's important to match avatars with personality or am I just over thinking things? LOL

I love your new avatar and as you saw in the earlier reply, I prefer the one you are using now... I like the one that is "in your face" and even if it doesn't present your personality, it's cute..:)

I like the one that you are using as your avatar! It is a cute little foxy! I am scared to change my avatar picture! i would like to change it but have not bothered to try to look for a new one since i'm not sure if i should change it! Do you find people dont recognize you as the same person when you change your picture ?

I have noticed a little bit of a slow down whenever I've changed mine but everyone seems to catch on pretty quickly.
I like yours and think it's pretty but I'd suggest looking for something a little bigger and brighter if you do decide to change it....but keep the pink, I think that fits with your name :)

I think your current red panda (aka fire fox) photo for your avatar is the better one. It looks kind of like the photo my local zoo uses in their billboards. They got a new red panda last year and she managed to escape her enclosure twice shortly after she got there. Luckily, they are not dangerous, she just wanted to have a look around...

LOL...well that sounds about right...mischeivious but not dangerous. I had no idea what it really was...I just put "fire" and "fox" in my seach box and found some images. The caption on this one just said "fire fox" and I liked it.

You're the second person to mention the red panda so I can only assume it's the same thing...I'm not exactly an animal expert lol.
The puppy with a Santa hat doesn't count...and even if it did it still represented your personality as a fun and loyal friend.

I think that your new avartar is very cute! I don't see another pic here, that must be what you are talking about in your other discussion I saw asking people if they ever forget to include the photo in their discussions, hehe. I'm not responding to that one because I don't think it applies to me because I have not yet wanted or needed to include a photo in any of my discussions.
Anyway, this one is adorable. I don't know if it is important to match your avatar with your personality or not, I never thought about it. It definitely can't hurt. My avatar usually just matches me in general. I either use an actual pic of myself or a doll that resembles me (i.e, the doll I'm using now has long, curly red hair and is dressed in jeans, I have long, curly red hair and often dress in jeans).
However, when I post my fanfics in a Dukes forum, my avatar matches what I describe my character to look like, so I guess I do put a little importance on it, when I think about it.....
Ok, I think I'm rambling again...did any of that make any sense to you? LOL!

LOL yep that's exactly what I was talking about in the other discussion so I'm really glad I finally got a response here.
I never thought about it much either until I decided I wanted to change mine. I used a real one of me for a little while but that just got a little weird having myself stare at me everytime I logged on lol. So instead of having an avatar that was actually me I decided to try for one that represented me.
And I totally understand rambling as I do it quite often myself!

Firstly I think the avatar looks absolutely adorable and cute! I suppose in following this with your name being foxy! I should have an avatar of a wolf instead of me? But I have always felt that by showing the real me as my avatar people know me for me, if that makes sense, it's the true me and it makes it more personal, so when you are responding to my discussions or I am responding you can see the real face behind the response.

I feel it is important that the avatar tells you something about the person. But what the person means is totally their option. Mine actually is what my name is. My name in our language is twilight.
lol...like you mentioned in your other post, you forgot to post your other pic! But I did go through the other posts and saw the pic!
I like this one....but like you said this is more of a 'in-your-face' than the other one.
