I think the most important thing is keywords. If you can't get the casual websurfer then your blog will never have a PR. There's so many other things that throw into the mix but I think it all starts with the right keywords. For example I was going to write an article about Tom Cruise & Scientology, so I checked the keywords and came out with a zero. Instead the net would prefer an article on Katie Holmes chest, which I didn't write but that's a good example of how a great article can be read by no one, meanwhile a mindless article will get tons of hits.

That is strange. I checked and extra income source isn't a high ranking keyword. Are you getting a lot of hits? My only guess is that "extra income source" is not searched enough, if it was you would have a decent PR and you could link your other sites to it to help them gain a better rank.

I have some links on my blog that I use to generate traffic. I don't get a lot of traffic, but my blog is fairly new still. Maybe one month old. I just recently started using yahoo answers and putting my blog address as my signature. I am hoping that will help generate some more traffic.

I was using a thing called searchengineblaster. You have to pay for it monthly. I don't know how much it helps though.

Er, I also think the keywords is important. But I think the most important is the quality of your blog. If there were many useful informations or files, your blog would gain increasing visitors. It is a long work to build a excellent blog or site. Time could check up the whole shoot.

A well written blog won't necessarily generate more traffic than a poorly written one. But a well written blog will keep readers coming back for more. The ideal is to have great keywords, great back links, and a great blog that gets people talking and sharing your article with their friends. But you'd be surprised how many mindless blogs with the right keywords and the right pictures earn more than greatly written blogs. I see it all the time.

I think more topics in your website, the more traffic you will get. But my blog still no traffic, I don't know why, I tried to buy traffic, and join some groups to increase my traffic, they were no use for the traffic increasing...

I have used http://www.linkreferral.com to get traffic. I think that it's work just fine. It drives some real traffic to your site and best part of it is that visitors will review your site so you know how you should improve it to get more traffic.
