Would you sell your soul? - sell your soul

There is a movie on tv as I'm on my pc and of course it's the Chiller Channel...lol....a man just sold his soul for a relationship! I have to admit there was a time when I thought I would do that but my thoughts on relationships has changed quite a bit since then. Now I know I wouldn't sell my soul for a relationship but I might if it came down to something for one of my kids. What would you sell your soul for? Is there anything you think would be worth it?

Oooooh what an intriguing idea! Homer Simpson sprang to mind - although I don't think I like donuts THAT much lol. I do recall reading Faust at school who sold his soul for fame and fortune but as he found money isn't everything so I don't think I could figure a sum worthy of my soul. I guess if anything happened to one of my kids then I would probably consider it but I would hope to come out on top rather like Nicholas Cage in Ghost Rider.

HEHEHEH Homer was desperate for a donut and rashly announced he would sell his soul for one. Quite an amusing episode as he tried to resist eating the remainder of the "forbidden donut" I guess it sprang to mind as to how rashly we make such powerful statements for things we think we need such as "I would give my right arm for a Gucci bag"

I wouldnt sell my soul for anything in all honesty....Yes I love my kids very much but if something were to go on that was SO major in order to change it I had to sell my soul I WOULD NOT do it...Why? because anything THAT intense is NECESSARY as far as I'm concerned and meddling with that would be a mistake...

My soul is not for sale. It isn't on loan from a deity. It is mine forever. There isn't anything in this world that I want that would make me give up my piece of forever.

Boy Country! You sure love that chiller channel. Person after my own heart. I love a good Spookie movie. I am with you on this one. I very well might if it was for my daughter. Other than that I couldn't see much else being worth it. Let's just hope we never have to. The thought makes me shudder.

No, there is nothing and nobody to buy my soul. Somebody can buy me things but can't buy my love. Somebody might tell me flattering things but this won't buy my soul. If I help somebody, it is because I understand that somebody needs help, not because I want to make a conquest.

I am glad that we are not able to sell our souls....but this is separate topic... Nothing on this planet would be worth more than members of my family...

Most people can say that phrase and it not have a whole lot of meaning. Being a Christian, that is pretty scary to me! I firmly believe in God, in the devil and in the afterlife. I definitely prefer living with God in the afterlife instead of without. Nothing we could gain in this life would be worth losing eternity with God.

I would not sell my soul for anything...You soul is the only thing that you will have for eternity..I would not sell my soul for any relationship, my soul is the only thing you have that can determine your destiny..Besides our soul does not really belong to us, we can make choices with it, and we could sell it but hey i do not plan to be in hell for eternity..Eternity is forever more, there is no end, it is a never ending thing forever and forever. No i would not ever even think about selling my soul..

oh dear, what could be worth giving up our eternal bliss in heaven and the beatific vision? nothing - our entire life on earth is but a fleeting moment - you suffer in hell a thousand years and your suffering is not ended, not in a million years... if you were permitted to shed a single tear once a year you can cry an ocean's worth and still not lessened your days there.... to think how offensive our sins are to a God so good, we should all tremble and shudder for participating with wickedness... in a sense when we willfully sin are we not bargaining with our soul?

There is nothing I would sell my soul for, ctry, even if I thought it was mine to sell. I did a recent discussion about a man trying to sell his soul on ebay. He didn't get any takers. I believe that the soul comes from God and nobody has the right to sell it-for any reason. When I pass on I don't want my soul going anywhere but back to God.

No one has a soul to sell. You belong to your soul, not the other way around. The soul is your God-self and it surrounds your physical body. When you die your physical decays, but your soul moves on to a Higher Dimension. I hope my soul does not decide to sell me.

No. That's just silly. I don't think there's anything in the world worth actually selling your soul for. But if I was going to hell and I had to work for the devil to avoid going to hell... I would do that.
