Food and hygiene safety practices at tertiary institutions.

I would like to know if food hygiene and safety practices are the same the world over at tertiary institutions i.e colleges & universities.Of particular interest are knowledge of personnel,applicability of utensils,the working environment,storage facilities,provision of personnal protectve clothing and availabilty of hot food handling facilities,food recycling and all other associated issues.
