Isn't this a horrible story? An entire family, a couple in their 50's or 60's, a couple in their 30's and two small children were found murdered in Washington state Christmas Eve. The older couple's daughter and her boyfriend were later charged with the murders. Below is part of a news account from SlashMySearch: "Michele K. Anderson and Joseph Thomas McEnroe, both 29, confessed to detectives they had shot six members of Anderson's family, according to court documents. Anderson said both of them shot her parents, brother and sister-in-law, while McEnroe killed the children, according to a separate affidavit. King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, who will decide whether to seek the death penalty, said the motive for the slayings may never be known." What is this world coming to and what would ever drive a 29 year old woman to commit a horrible crime like this, even killing her little niece and nephew? This is almost to horrible to even discuss! It is a horrible story. I dont see how people can do things like this to their own family. Maybe she had some kind of mental illness? Even if she didnt her lawyer will probably try to get her off using that.

Even if the girl did have a mental illness, the liklihood of the boyfriend also having a mental illness that would qualify for the courts to excuse his behavior is pretty unlikely. What kind of a sick human being would allow the girlfriend to even attempt something like this, much less kill the kids? That's the hard part for me... being able to kill children makes someone really disgusting!

OMG!!! This is exactly why I stopped watching the news! To many stories about sick and twisted people! It makes me sick! I will never understand how or why anyone could be so sick, twisted and deranged as to comitt such horendous acts as that! That is just an awful, crying shame.

These kinds of violence is really terrible. We have all sorts of violences here in Thailand too. Raping, stealing, killing, you name it. It's just going crazy around the world. Look at Bhuttra's case from Pakistan. People are really resorting to violence in solving problems unnecessarily these days.

I have a hard time dealing with that one. I cannot imagine killing my whole family. That is just so horrible. I cannot imagine anything that would make someone committ such an act.

What the heck is this world coming to? it's unbelieveable what people will do, and how many people are stupid enough to think they really won't get caught. I'm sure if people really thought they were going to get caught, they woudln't do what they do. Some people are just STUPID!

I think it's a sickness in some ppl. Something that snaps in their brain and they are left with no reasonings skills, either that or simple evilness. Sadly, there is alot of this going on. I don't know what this world is coming to. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

The world needs a miracle these days...a prayer.. It's what's in their heart and mind thats the root cause of it all. I pray for the souls of the departed.
