a always look back at the old year, and think about what occured and how it all happened. Every year i think nothing much had gone on, until i really think about it. Good, bad, sad, happy, all of it comes with the year ahead and behind me. I hope to have a better year, but i dont think ive ever had the worst year either. Just waking up and enjoying my life more would be a good thing to want and expect i guess.

Hi milagre, Enjoyed looking at your new dog's picture!!! I too have some wishes for this new year. My very first wish is to get pregnant. My husband and I now have been married for the past three and a half years, but we haven't got a child yet. I wish and pray that I get pregnant soon, very soon. I pray for bady girls (twins). Secondly, I wish that my niece, nephew, brother-in-law, sisters, mom, dad, my husband, and I have good health so that we can work hard to earn money. Thirdly, I wish to travel to the United States of America; I have never been to that country, and I long to see it. I wish you all the best in your new wishes and Good Luck !!!!!

I was so stupid to respond your discussion wrongly. I now feel too funny and even embarrassed. Anyways, thanks for accepting my silly and stupid respond. I do not have a dog becuase I am a very busy wife and I do not have time to take care of any pets (dogs), but I love them. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2007 was a tough year for my family. We started a new business, and there was a lot of stress involved in that. My daughter hurt herself badly enough that we had to take her to get a CT scan to make sure she didn't have a concussion. That was scary. There were fun things this year, too. Like the fact that we fostered dogs for three different rescue groups. We had a total of 15 that we fostered. It's great to know that we had a direct part in saving the lives of 15 dogs. In 2008 I am hoping to reduce the stress in our lives. I want to live happier, no matter what the situation is. We are moving into a smaller home, so that will help a lot. No keeping up with the Joneses or worrying about making this insane mortgage payment. I hope that the kids will be happy and healthy. I don't have any plans or expectations, really, other than life getting back into a routine by continuing to grow our business.

I have to be honest about the business.... it wasn't something I wanted to do. However, the company my husband was working for last November suddenly said that they had sold out. There was simply no job there for my husband. So... with about $35,000 in savings and a lot of hoping and praying we took the plunge. We had actually owned a business before, so we had a general idea of what was going to work and what wasn't. We also knew what to expect as far as growth spurts and drop offs. The biggest thing was that we knew how far that backup savings was going to go, so we knew if we had to pull out of the business and get a "real" job. It is a scary thing owning a business. No day is exactly like the one before. Emotions run high at times. But, all in all I am thrilled that we opened the business, and I love the perks that come with it. We definitely wouldn't have done this if my husband's job didn't disappear, though. We didn't have 15 dogs all at once. I would have gone insane! Through out the year we have fostered one or two (or sometimes up to six) at a time until permanent homes were found for them. It's been an interesting year with the dogs to say the least!
