Hi Marketing, The star conveys what your reputation as Mylot means. The higher the number in the star (and you can hover your mouse over the star for a more precise number), then the higher your reputation on Mylot. I don't know that it has any significance on your actual earnings, but sometimes it might influence the way people perceive you as an authority figure on Mylot. Someone that spams a bunch of referral links around is going to have a low star like a 4, and I'll know that I probably shouldn't pay that much attention to them because they're out for themselves and aren't going to provide me much value. That said, don't read too much into it. Sometimes there are people that tell it like it is, and that offends others and they end up with a lower star, but they typically bring a lot of value to the discussions they participate in. It does provide a bit of a measuring stick, but again, don't read too far into it. Hope that explains it.
