food ideas

I don't know what to make for dinner. Anyone have any food ideas that don't take a lot of time or ingredients? no seafood please. I am allergic. Thanks!!!

I like to make cheesy hamburger and noodle dish. I brown 1-2 lbs of ground beef. Then I melt velveta cheese, milk and butter. I then coat egg noodles and ground beef with the sauce. My whole family loves it and it only takes about 20 minutes top to make.

mmm!! I love stuff like that but my younger son doesn't like that stuff. I have some cheesy hashbrowns to make but he doesn't like that either. He doesn't like mac and cheese or stuff like that. He is a real picky eater!! But we still make some of that stuff no matter what he likes. Hopefully soon he will get over this phase. Thanks!!!

Here is a quick, cheap & tasty meal: POTATO-BEEF QUICK MEAL 2 lbs. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper Dash of cayenne pepper (optional) 1/2 c. chili sauce or ketchup 1 pkg. au gratin or cheese scalloped potato mix 16 oz. can tomatoes, cut up, undrained 1 to 2 oz. (1/4 to 1/2 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 c. chopped onions 1 tsp. brown sugar 1 3/4 c. water 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large oven-proof skillet, brown ground beef, drain. Add onions, green peppers, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, water, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, potato slices, contents of seasoning mix envelope, and tomatoes. Mix well. Bring mixture to a boil. Stir. Carefully place skillet in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. 8 (1 cup) servings.
