Is Family Guy the funniest cartoon tv show on the air?

I think Family Guy is the funniest cartoon tv show on the air. I think it is even funnier than the Simpsons is. But I'm also a huge fan of the simpsons. I'm not going to lie. I also know that Family guy was in part inspired by the simpsons. Middle class family living in suburbia. the similarities are numerous. but I think that family guy has taken the torch from the simpsons and will carry it into the 21st century.
Family Guy is hilarious. What do you think?

I'd agree with you family guy is hilarious. Simpsons has gone downhill in some sense, i think it is just because people are interested in other shows many newer ones, when a show like the simpsons has been around for that long its hard to keep viewers watching. Family Guy has taken over and the scripts are absolutely brilliant.

I think Family guy is great. I especially love the flash backs when they say 'oh yeah, I remember that time' and it flashes back to a funny clip from the imaginary past. I am actually looking for ideas for gdisites.com and I think Family Guy would be a superb addition.

I love Family Guy. Stewie is my favorite. I never really liked the Simpsons but I got hooked on this show.
