Did anyone see Waterhorse or The Golden Compass?

I want to take my little sister to a movie, but I'm not sure which one she'd like. She's 10 years young. Has anyone here seen those movies? Was it good, or was it just plain boring? Do you know which one is better? Also the new movie out with Hilary Swank "PS I LOVE YOU", It looks pretty good, I think I want to see that one too! Has anyone seen "PS I LOVE YOU"?
