Why do many people who are close to reaching their payouts write goodbye discuss

I was looking at a couple of discussions and there are quite a few people saying "goodbye" to mylot and then go on about being near their payout. I find the utterly rediculous. If you are participating in this site, it shouldn't be for the few cents you are offered as an incentive, it should be because you enjoy conversing about different topics. One member in particular wrote about 3 diffrent posts about being so close to payout and missing mylot. Do you find this annoying?

You never know who is going to stick around here, and who is not. Most people tend to give up thinking this site is a waste of time because it takes so long to be able to Cash out on here. But as many of the people like me know who have chosen to stick around, it may take a while but is truly worth it when you do Cash out. All I can say is people come and people go, but why Bad mouth this site if you are leaving? Just leave and get it over with, and leave this site to those of us who still enjoy being here.

I think if you read those discussions, you will find that they are not what you think. I read a couple of discussions by a person who talked about not spending as much time here because of other obligations, and was hoping to reach payout and receive the money now rather than having it sit there for another month. It is easy to misunderstand the content of a discussion when you don't read carefully.

I can understand if they are really busy. I'd bet many people join my lot when they are not as busy, and then if they get busy later I could see $ sitting as a waste to leave behind. So maybe they figure they'll get to the payout amount and then take a long break. It makes sense to me. If my lifestyle were as busy as it was say 2 years ago there's no way I'd be on my lot, I'd be too busy.

Anyone who takes the time to write on this site should stick with it at least until payout. Preferably, you should stay with it longer unless it becomes too time consuming.

May be they only joined mylot for the pay out only and when they are close to acheiving it they realize that they have gained alot in terms of knowledge and some new friends and thats why they feel a little bad about leaving. But why would they leave ? Mylot is a very exciting place to be , here one can throw a discussion to get resposes across the globe and aslo share his own views and thoughts on others discussions.

Hello Mrrtomatoe, Happy New Year. I really think we can make a conclusion about people who do this. It says a lot in my opinion. Now that I have found mylot, I will be on here for a while, simply because I like sharing what I think. As you continue to stay in the mylot community, you will probably notice patterns from other users that say a lot about how they use mylot. In the end, I guess we all have our reasons; and some can be somewhat determined through behavior. I am really not annoyed by mylot users. It really does not effect the way I use mylot. Take Care.
