Have you seen more homeless people in 2007?

This past year, I have especially seen more people who stand on corners with signs saying they are homeless, (some may call it pan handling) etc. I'm not judging: I'm wondering (and it makes me grateful and humbled for all I have). Have you seen more homeless where you are?

I am a tycoon of sorts, rich as christmas cake and twice as tasty.
I have seen many homeless people and often throw a shilling in thier direction. they adore me and quite rightly so for i am incredibly handsome and they are not.

I live in the country now so seeing homeless just doesnt happen around here, not even in the nearby villages and towns...however I'm FROM Toronto and the homeless situtation there from what I understand has in fact skyrocketed over the past few yrs....Yes be grateful for all you have even if at times it seems like not much...I've lived on the streets and its a hellish existence to say the least..

When I am driving, my mind might wander in a million places, but whenever I see someone homeless, it really brings me back to the reality of how good I've actually got it. Thanks
