Have you ever eaten Ranbutan?

These were in the grocery store where my granddaughter works and we were there looking at them and talking about them when the produce man came and told us what they were and let us try one. they have a very different tast than you would expect. I thought they were rather good, but they are too expensive to buy for a family to eat.

I tried a freeze dried Ranbutan once. It was good. I like to try new things. I give new foods a chance, if at all possible.

Rambutan is not a strange fruit. Lot's of rambutans in philippines and i love it. Because it is sweet and easy to removed the skin. The Rambutan in my country are really popular but to expenssive. God bless and have wonderfull New year:)

Rambutan is actually quite common in my country here in the Philippines. Though, I must agree it is kind of a strange fruit. Even so, I love rambutan. Its taste is sweet and kind of watery. What I don't really like much about eating it is that some of it get stuck in between my teeth.

I live in Singapore and rambutans are common here, if u want to try a strange fruit, try dragonfruit. Or try the fruit that we love here in Singapore but is banned on public transport, durian, many Americans cannot even stand the smell of durian as the smell is very strong however I think the flavour is very rich and although the fruit smells a little too strong its very tasty
