Any fans of this "game" out there? I just 'played' through it the other day myself. I'm not sure what I was expecting out of it but I found it far above those expectations I'm sure. Everything from the BG music to the mech design on the Fiddler Crab was awesome. If you've only heard of this title let me do a bit of explaining for you. Planetarian is a visual novel. Now you may have heard this term applied to other games that should be called eroge or one of the dozen other names that apply to them. This is not one of those despite being created by Key the guys who also put out Air, Kanon and Clannad, all three of which are the type of visual novel you'd be thinking of. Planetarian is not like that though, it is truly a visual novel, although Key calls it a Kinetic Novel which is technically the name of a company that had to do with the 'game'. It's not a game see, you make no choices you don't really do anything aside from read/look at the pictures and listen to the talking (if you have the voiced version)and the music that goes along with it. the story revolves around the main character who's name we never learn and a robot named "Reverie Plaetarian" which technically isn't her name but a translation of her name into english. the story takes place in a post apocalyptic earth in an empty city in a planetarium that hasn't operated in somewhere between twenty to thirty years. I'll stop the story description there because if I don't I'll probably wind up spoiling something. Suffice it to say it's a evry good story, the arts very good and there's no naughty bits in it so anyone can "play" it.
