How did you spend your Newyear?

Hi mylotters! How did you spend your New year?I had a terrible headache from morning till evening on 31st and went out around 7 with my boyfriend after it subsided. We both dislike parties and drinking so we wore our new dresses, drove to our usual supermarket,had a bite at Mcdonalds, watched a movie (Taare Zameen Par), ate dinner ( a Gujarati Thali which was too plentiful and difficult to finish)and returned home at around 1, watched TV for sometime and then went to sleep. Inshort there was no partying, dancing or drinking for me. How did you spend our newyear?

i spend this entire new year with doing things correctly what r ordered by my mom.and fulling the responsibilities i had.

Well few days ago I happen to joine mylot and I was going through few discussions when suddenly the firework started , I went to my roof top immediately to enjoy it from there .It lasted for about 20 minutes .Then I returned to mylot :).This is how I spent my new year.

HI ANAMIKA, I have spent my new year eve in Indore,As I have to attain some family function at my native village in Indore on 1st Jan, So there is no party, no Tv Nothing, Just had a simple dinner, slept at 9:00 pm and wakeup at around 5:00 am. Usualy in our villages peoples sleep early and so no one is there to talk with me.So you have enjoyed Gujrati thali with friend. It must have no's of small Katories with veg curries in sweet flavour of sugar, Great Gujrati taste.

Good morning. We had an early dinner out with friends. Came home put our child to bed around 9pm. Then hubby and started a movie Superman Returns. Hubby and friend had some champagne. And went to bed. Low key and comfortable.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a party by a friend, that included lots of kink minded people. I had a total blast, got to know some new people, and found someone who wants someone to apprentice to them for making floggers, and whips. I love making stuff so this will be a perfect opportunity for me!

New Year hit about an hour ago here. I spent it putting dinner away. I had a bad headache/migraine earlier (like every other day this week) and pulled a muscle in my back. I was able to make dinner and eat but was so tired afterwards I laid down. That was at 5pm. I slept until 7pm. Still no one put dinner away, so I did it at midnight.
My husband and kids were all in bed by 10:30pm so it was just me up at midnight and I couldn't even make any noise because I didn't want to wake them. Just another day...err, night for me.

Happy New Year to you first off! Secondly...LOL your night was far more eventful than mine :-/ I was actually in bed and sleeping by 9:30 last night LOL

Happy new year Ann. I went to church and was the moderator for the service. It was really good although I have become hoarsed from singing on a throat that was giving me some slight problems.

I still have a hour and 20 minutes before the New Year gets here but earlier my husband and I went out to eat since then I have been at home played a couple games of cards and now I am here on mylot, no drinking I have to work tomorrow. Happy New Year!
