How to edit my post?

Singapore
December 31, 2007 11:02pm CST
I just posted a discussion and found out I mispelled one word.Is there any way I can re-edit my post? I cannot see somewhere that there's an option for that on that page. Maybe it's just on another page or somewhere? Anyone? Thanks.

yup we need to but when I have alot to answer I tend to get away typing and some times dont go back to check my spelling or to see if I hit a wrong key

AS IM SURE YOU KNOW BY NOW ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO EDIT YOUR POSTS after you post. We have to be very careful about things like spelling and gramar when posting here

Yes. Thanks for dropping by Eskarena...will do that..But with grammar...I am still improving my english by reading good topics here in myLOt..You might have to bear with me sometimes and for the others who are not native-english speakers:)

I don't think you can edit your post once it is already posted. But don't worry about it. There are a lot of misspelled words here in mylot, and I can't hear anyone complaining. I think it's because not everyone here is good in english, so people are forgiving. fyi: misspell is spelled with a double s. ^__^

Really? I didn't know you could do that. Thank you for the information. The edit tab isn't displayed well, so who could guess it's actually there? How did you find it anyway?

Nope, sorry, your stuck with it. It is one of the things we have requested AND requested from mylot that they don't listen to!

So what are theire reasons in not doing it? or accepting the suggestion?

Beats me, even a lousy spell checker would be nice. I have written some of my posts on Word Perfect and then copied them here, or I may copy a word here & check it in either my mail program or Word Perfect than paste back the correct spelling. Even before I could paste, I would check it and then use the correct spelling sometimes.

Hello dear dinxcarin. There is no other way to edit the discussion again once it is posted. Anyway it is better to be careful and check it before posting the discussion. But I would let you know that it is ok for the spelling mistakes as many of us do the same and still there is no problem for us to understand the discussion. Thanks for your discussion.

Hi dinxcarin, I think you can't edit it if you posted already. Because i have a lot of mispelled discussion also due to hurry sometimes. But if you discussion has no answers, the mylot administration they are the one who will be responsible to delete it in your page. God bless and Happy New Year

Yes . But sometimes I really have the urge in correcting my spelling because I feel sometimes it looks a bit weird and I am not just comfortable about it. Anyhow..guess we'll just live it all up to mylot and I am sure it will be forgiven because I know mylotters are good and not in some ways judgmental.

You can not edit your post once it has been tagged or posted without tag.I also had same problem because I have a habbit to overlook my misspelled words.I figured out a way to deal with this issue.I read my post carefully before I hit the "post response" button.Try this and you wont have such problems again.

Yes.I'm afraid that's the best thing to do for now. I just get used to some forums that I joined in...You know type in...hit submit..then after that, you get the "edit your post" button.. Well, I guess it's different here in myLot so have no choice but to live and bear with it :)

As far as I know, once you have posted it, it is done! Unless you preveiw it first. I don't think a small mis-spelled word really matters. Cheers, wish you a happy new year and happy Mylotting!

I dont think so there is a chance to modifiy the once posted discussion.if you want you can write one more saying that what the mistakes you have done and what you want to say actually. That's the think what i know.
