A dog is the reason...

I am not sure to put this one under the dog or the people category but then, I have decided to eventually put it under the dog category just for the fun of it. Furthermore, a dog is involved in this story. "The woman told her boyfriend that if the dog doesn't stay out, she didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore. He replied that maybe his next girlfriend would appreciate the dog more, and called her a name." You see. This couple from Bremerton, Washington, had a fight because the guy wanted to have his dog to take shower together with his girlfriend but the girlfriend did not agree and... "The police report said the woman punched him in the face several times and the man dislocated his shoulder after the naked couple grappled. He told police his girlfriend threw a picture frame, which broke and cut him." What do you think? To start with, I am a big dog lover. Dogs are so cute. I have 2 boxers and I treat them as babies. But when it comes to personal things, like in this case have a shower with my husband, I definitely would want my dogs out of the way! It's not that I don't love them but the shower is not the place for dogs. You did not say what do you think. Your thoughts are important too!

I think you do not have to have a fight that involves the police on this... that's what I think... looks like both of them are still not matured.

What do I think? (This made me laugh!!) I think there are some really odd people out there. Now I understand having to sit on the side of the tub to give a dog a bath, my dog won't stay in it unless I can at least be partially in the tub holding him in there. (Not a big fan of baths). It does look like that guy came out worse than the woman did. Maybe he needs to keep his brilliant ideas to himself. (Still laughing..... never underestimate the level of oddness in society.)

This sounds to me like the kind of couple that might appear on Jerry Springer. I don't think that what the guy said was anything for the woman to beat him up over--even though it was rather inconsiderate. Maybe next time, this guy should be up-front in the first place and tell perspective dates that he likes to shower with his dog, and they can make up their minds whether or not they want to invest in such a relationship. It seems to me that this relationship must have been going on for awhile and, then, this guy suddenly sprang it on the woman that he wanted the dog to join them in their shower romp. Then, he threatened to get a new girlfriend who appreciated showering with a dog. But it definitely wasn't a issue worth going to jail for roughing the guy up over. Yep! They definitely sound like candidates for Jerry Springer--and I now wonder if the dog were a Springer Spaniel! LOL

That is the funniest thing I've heard lately. Thanks for sharing the laugh. It gave a funny mind picture of them having to talk to the police.

I, being a dog lover as well, think that it is absolutely ludercrious that people are getting physical over a dog. Especially because one didn't wanna take a shower with the dog. I think it's a little funny, not ha ha, but sick that the guy actually wanted all three of them to take a shower together. Seems a little odd and strange to me. I mean, that is their time to be alone, without involving the dog and for him to want to involve the dog only makes me wonder what the intentions would have been if the dog had been allowed to join them in the shower. Just crazy. God bless

I wonder whether he would ask the dog to be present when they are making love or not... LOL!

we had a huge problem with my husbands huge female dachshund who got jealous when we made love and would barge into our bedroom and try to get between us so finally we had to lock the door as she had learned how to open it.then Pansywould sit and howl and howl. we could not win finnally put her outside in a dog house.I truly believed she was jealous of me. I loved the dog but she made it plain she was my husband's dog. lol

What the guy in the story did was wrong, but i have had a shower with my dog, but was his idea. Scraps is affraid of thunderstorms and one morning it stormed while i was showering. A clap of thunder and i turned around scraps was on the edge of the tub, boom secoond one he was in with me, so i washed him also. His fear of thunder was greater than that of baths.

Canines in general are my favorite animals on the planet.. but even I don't see the point in having a dog in the shower with you! I don't imagine the dog would enjoy it very much, either, lol. I don't think that I blame that woman for her reaction to what the guy suggested to her... heh.
