She was arrested in 1975 on a charge of trying to assassinate President Ford and now Sara Jane Moore is free on Parole after spending 32 years in prison. "Sara Jane Moore, 77, was released in the morning from the federal women's prison in Dublin, outside San Francisco, according to Mike Truman of the Bureau of Prisons." "Moore was arrested in September 22, 1975, outside the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco after firing a single shot at Ford. A bystander had grabbed Moore's arms just before she fired a .38 caliber revolver and was credited with probably saving the president's life. The bullet missed Ford's head by inches." When asked about why she tried to kill the president, her answer was that her actions were motivated by radical revolutionary politics. What do you think of her? Does she deserve to be released? a pity she survived the leathal injection, I hope she has lost her leathal character-otherwise with such persons who seem to have nothing to lose, may still try to accomplish their unfinished business-she may want kill Ford off compltetely, or just kill another BIG MAN like Bush Junior! The CIA should keep an eagle's eye on her!

She served her time and therefore has to be released. Obviously, she is/was a very troubled person. Hopefully, she is too old to repeat her mistake.

I thought you Americans killed all your A category prisoners? Oh well, i guess not. Now then, is she reformed? is she ready to participate fully in society again? does the state feel she has been sufficiently punished? If so then release her. However, the synic in me thinks she will be released to save money as at her age she will cost more if she is allowed to die in prison blessed be

You have a point there about taking care of an elderly in prison. Thanks!

It sounds like she has spent a long time in prison. I think she served her time. What a waste of her life! Getting out of prison at 77.
