Is it possible that the matix is really real

Can we deny the fact the matrix is not really real....probably we may be living in matrix and not knowing it. The food we are eating and things we are doing may all be a part of a program.
Can u deny this ..give your reasons if you think otherwise. what if the machines are making us do what we are doing....what about the Dejavu..the dreams..and sixth sense....things we feel would happen or has happened before...possibly MATRIX ?
guys / gals we need answers..
ps: my name just coincides with the discussion..i dont feel like one.. :)

I think there have been a lot of theories that are very similar to the idea of the Matrix in philosophy through the years anyway. Perhaps not exactly robots and tanks, but similar ideas about the world not being real, and us really being either non-existant, fictional, or in some way in a dream state.
I'd say all these ideas exist for some reason or other, so there must be some truth to it. When I was a little kid, I used to wonder if my life were someone's nightmare, and I used to try doing things to "wake them up". Weird, eh?

I think the movie was created to symbolically tell us the whole philosophy of world.

Think of the movie as a piece of literature with a theme, a message that is real, important and too controversial to discuss openly. Quite a bit of great literature is this way. Just like the movie 'Matrix'.
Now, I'm not saying we all exist in a 'program'. That is not the case. What the similarity between the movie and real life is concerns artificiality.
Very little of modern life is at seems. This is because of marketing and salesmanship.
All the things you use have been marketed in a way that distorts their reality.
All the politicians you vote for misrepresent themselves to get elected.
Your government does not tell you what it is really up to because you would not like it.
The list goes on and on.
In real life, just as in the 'Matrix', things are not as they appear.

yeh but still...imagine say the matrix really is true...then how likely would it actually be that someone would think up a movie that describes EXACTLY how we're really living! And I still don't think the machines would take the chance that someone would realise the truth by seeing the movie, and the secret would be given away...
I'm also thinking of the "Truman Show", dunno if you watched it, but a similar idea, if it really were true then the people running the "world" wouldn't have allowed "me" to watch such a movie because i might just believe it and realise my life is all a lie...
In general the 2 movies mentioned are just sort of twisted versions of what our life really is like...

i think even if the movie exist or not all of us here will never believe such unknown realism of the movie itself... i bet all of who watch that movie only think it is only someones imagination... and so the machine only ignores it... and who knows... it is only fictional beliefs not a single truth of it are exist...

That is where religion comes in man!!!....Yeah rite we are living in a Matrix...and we are fuctioning according to some general rules and codes written by the God!!!!....This is quite similar to what Islam has told us!!!
The concept of Luck and is all about this!!!!!

only some aspects of the matrx r real.the food we r eating some time influence our mood .if we program our mind we can do it .for example we get up early morning at 5:00 am by keeping alaram.but if we program our mind before sleeping we get up exactly at that time with out alaram. then deja vu,dreams,sixth sense r real

If MATRIX is real, don't you think we would all be "almost perfect" individuals? Remember Neo when he's being programmed by the group....he can easily ask or choose any program that he wants to know or be excellent with. And if that will be the case....I will definitely choose to be well educated in all programs...:D

well the matrix is been program as a reality to any instance... its not been built to make us all be in perfect form... well i just think of what youve said... and if i choose anything i like to have i will choose to have not a big brain... but a big jr. and a magnetism to all pretty girls... that would be nice...
