Kids need to be directed to appropriate music. At ten years old they should not be allowed to listen to anything with cursing or sexually explicit. I mean there should be a bubble around kids, up to the age of 12 or 13 that shields their innocence for another time.

very frankly i have no idea. i can't even remember what i listened to as a 10 yr old. i guess some classical music since i was learning to play the piano then. and i guess some pop music since that was what the older teens were listening to, and i must have had some influence in that area. And christian music I suppose, from being a regular church goer. :)

I think he should learn to appreciate classical music by now not just because it's my favorite genre but because you can learn about all the great composers ,and who knows ,maybe he will have a little interest in culture ,if that's what you're looking for. I hated music at the age of 10 lol.

Metal! Metal is life... I listen it 10 hours at day! And I know it 10 years ago... anyway the 1st band for me are the rage against machine! B y e e e e ! ! !
