Recent movies

I have not seen any new movies in forever. Everything I see advertised looks either ridiculous or like a remake of something old. Has anyone seen anything any good out recently. We watched the Simpsons movie last night and it was pretty good.

I don't know if you've seen "Hitcher" but if you like horrors, this is pretty good,I even put it in my top 10 movies list. It's about a psycho that will kill everyone in his path from policemen to little kids.And he feels good about it.

If you are not old enough to remember it that too is a remake I believe. If I am not mistaken I think it maybe an Alfred Hitchcock movie. I am just so over remakes. I try not to even bother with them. My hubby wanted to see that one when it came out so maybe we will give it a shot.

My daughter and her friend went to see Sweeny Todd. She said there was lots of blood. She also said it was a good movie. She saw Johnny Depp sing and she says he is not bad. It does have a sad ending though. Alvan and the Chipmonks was funny as well. She could not stop talking about this movie when she got home. The animation was very good and the little chipmonks singing was great. My daughter is seventeen and she liked the movie. So I guess it is not just for kids. I have seen the Die Hard movie and it is full of action. It is now out on dvd and worth seeing. Saw Spiderman three as well and sory but it just was not all that great to me. It was full of big egos and jelousy.

Alvin in the chipmunks I would probably like because I loved the show growing up. I love there christmas song I do this funny little voice and sing it to my family. LOL Probably shouldnt tell people that. Johnny Depp if nothing else is always nice to watch lol.
