home alone ,how wonderful

i am having a night to myself,the first night alone in months.no children or demands.i can sit and mylot for hours undisturbed,or maybe read a book,watch what i want on t.v.no cooking.it's my time.i think we all need my time.what do you do when you are home alone?

I am working from home, so I always have things to do in my office. I don't watch TV, if I have free time I like to take on line training for Photophop.
I am alone for last 5 days and will be alone for next 5 days.
My pets are happy about it; we are happy pack warming up under cover. It is cold outside and we are happy to be on mylot and listening to "Ocean Surf" sounds of natures...

I've grown to enjoy this time. My 21 year old daughter moved out about May of'07. My 18 year old daughter gave me no choice but to boot her out the end of October. At least I know she isn't out on the streets and she is living with one of my brothers. She did just spend a few weeks with me and I was glad to reclaim my home alone status!
I don't think I will hit that empty nest syndrome, for one thing my pets sorta take over where my daughters left off, just without the mouth! If I am sitting at my desk, that's where you will find the two cats and dog. They follow me to bed and just the other morning it was like geeze can't I even take a shower without you cats following me!

my children are not that old yet that they can leave home.they are just heavy duty most of the time.when my daughter is home,it is usually with about 3-4 other friends,so normally there would be a houseful of noisy teensgers who usually want to upload music on my computer.so i can never get to my computer when i want.cheers sue

When I got up this morning I thought I was home alone. What an illusion! I thought my parents went to work and my grandparents weren't visiting so I was sure I was alone but then I saw my mother and then my father and remembered my mother saying she would have started working on 3th. I was thinking about reading and watching tv and I can't do that in the morning when my parents are at home because they want me to do something all the time. I just wonder how they let me write here in myLot. I mean, I wonder how they haven't found anything for me to do yet.
