For I did not make any resolution this year simply because I have been trying to make resolutions and I end up dropping them on the way starting January second and by jan 10th I have forgotten everything.
What about you? did you make any? Do you always follow them till atleast mid year?

I keep some. What works for me is doing some of my resolution early in the year. If I don't start working on them early, they are never accomplish. Every year my goal is to be organize never happen. Last year, I had a lot of problems due to my disorganization. I paid bills late and incur late fees. I vow this year not to let that happen. I am here cleaning out my purses which always have a lot junk. My big resolution this year is to save money. I am lacking an emergency fund which creates all kinds of problems for me. I know the money we get from Mylot is not much, but I am going to spend more time here so I can put that money aside.

I made the resolution of getting more things published and yes I usually follow through with them. Last year I wrote an article that was published in True Confessions. Now I am going to have an opinion piece published in a nearby towns newspaper. When I set goals I am determined to achieve them.

i didn't make any list too. well, i don't really make any list before but i used to print in my mind what i want to change for the New Year. ^__^;; but i realized that i don't really follow it and end up breaking my own words. i guess the list only serves as a reminder of what to change in ourselves and not exactly a mantra. LOL
so i don't make New Year's resolutions anymore but i see to a point that at any given time when i realize i do something wrong or commit a mistake, i remind myself not to do it anymore. ^__^

I usually forget about them before the first week is over so this year I tried to be more reasonable about it and just set some simple goals for myself and not beat myself up if I fall off the wagon now and then. When I said fall off the wagon I'm not referring to going out and getting drunk...lol. I don't drink anymore. But I've resolved, or rather promised myself to get more exercise, get organized and eat healthier this year. I'll let you know how I do...

You and my fiancee are almost the same. He thinks just like you, he had a new year resolution and as we speak he has already forgoten about it. He promised himself to start going to the gym by jan 2nd but as we speak he has not registered yet. I hope he is going to do so soon.
Thanks for your response dear.

Hello dear kwenge. I have responded to quite a few of the similar discussions before this one of yours. As I would like to make my response a little bit different from the former ones that I have already responded to, may I have some new year resolutions, please? I think that you would agree with me by saying, 'please'. Thanks.
Well, I have too many new resolutions, but I would like to say one more resolution. Well, as I am a teacher, I would like to spend more time training my students to win each of the English contest in the new year and I would train them to be always the first place in the contests. This will surely make me and my school very happy as always. Thanks for your similar discussion on the same topic.

there is an old say.Once action would be better than thousands words.Man always like to make plans for his self and ask himself to reach some goals. At last,he cant remember when he has forgotten that.So do me.
just accomplish the nearest goals in hands, then we are on the way to making progress.
