We hear about it all the time.. Do we say" that's too bad" while we eat a hot fudge sundae? Do we really feel the pain of others or do we just look the other way and think it is someone elses problem.. or do we say" well if they weren't lazy"..or "Those people should..." Over 25,000 die everyday from hunger/hunger related illness... Think about that...That is 25,000 of someones daughter/son/grandchild...someone's mom..someone's dad..someone's auntie/uncle..someone's brother/sister...someone's cousin/neice/nephew...someone's FRIEND..... Many of us take a few minutes every day doing something about it....do you? You have no money you say... http://www.freerice.com/index.php You don't know what to do... http://www.poverty.com/ http://www.foodshare.org/main.cfm?page=1 Please just do something! You know that family down the street ...ya know the one that sends their kids to school without a decent coats?...And you have those coats your kids outgrew...Put them in a plastic bag with a note saying"Hope you can use these" and leave them on the porch if you don't want to talk to them.. Think about it.. Part of the solution or part of the problem which are you? Let's make 2008 the year we make a difference in someone's life..maybe even save it! xoxoxoxo

25,000 people dying every day from hunger/hunger ralated illness is shameful in this day and age. If we all helped a little bit, this world would be a much better place for everyone - I believe in the Power of One! Great discussion Raydene; let's hope we all take positive action after reading it.

My church members donte food to the food pantry. our woman's Minisrty has given a challenge to the church for 150lbs each of flour and sugar for the moth of Janary. I will be what I can. I believe in keeping the food pranty as full as possible. I know My family has more to eat than they really need.

Raydene, how wonderful of you to post this and encourage others to do something to make a difference in someone's life. You're so right and if everyone who is able to would do just a little something for someone else we may not solve every problem in the world but it would be a decent start. I'm going to visit the links you gave and try to do my little part. Thanks and bless you! Annie
