Good news about the hockey tickets!

I kind of feel bad now...I'd just started the other discussion not long ago and sent off some e-mails to the hockey team and news station telling them how disappointed I was that the tickets my daughter won to attend a game were delivered two days AFTER the game. She just got home and there was a letter for her with two new tickets for another game and an apology about the previous mistake! So now I'm off to e-mail the team and the news station that the problem was already remedied I just didn't know it yet when I e-mailed them. Talk about egg on my face!

Don't feel bad foxyfire. I still would of sent off the emails. I wonder what made them move quickly on the matter even when you did talk to them before. Maybe the news station got in touch with them LOL

I know I'm wondering what made them change their minds too. As of last night everyone we'd contacted had basically said too bad not their fault. And then new tickets arrive today. Someone somewhere must not have been communicating.

Its nice that they apologise, thats a large + to it. I hope your daughter gets a nice time at the coming hockey match she chooses to watch. Egg in your face, are we talking about raw, boiled or fried. Whatever it is, having food in your face doesn't sound fun.

She is so excited. I'm sure it's all she'll be talking about for the next month and a half. I really never thought about what type of egg was used in that expression, I just know it means being embarrassed.

Hey, you couldn't have known they'd already fixed the problem! I'm glad it was taken care of. I didn't see your other discussion, so were these tickets to see the Little Penguins? Annie

Nope the Binghamton Senators, we're just south of the NY border. The Arena is only about 30 minutes away.

Glad that they made good on the tickets for your daughter. And they did it on their own without other outsiders getting involved to make it right. Hope she enjoys the Hockey Game!

I am really glad they decided to fix it on their own. Must be someone thought about it after the initial phone calls were made and changed their mind about replacing them.

But didn't they say it was not their responsibility? I may have to read that discussion again, but that's ok, I too have reacted too soon and gotten, "egg on my face" like you say..lol

Yeah they did but I guess they changed their minds at some point after we called them. I wish they'd thought to call us back to say they would send new tickets afterall then I wouldn't have done what I did but oh well, I couldn't have known.
