According to Wikipedia, The Saturn return is a phenomenon claimed by astrologers to occur in a person's life at approximately 27–30 years of age and again around the age of 58–60, with the third and usually final occurrence around 86-88. The planet Saturn takes approximately 29.5 years to orbit the Sun; when it returns to the exact degree along the ecliptic it occupied at the time of a person's birth this is referred to as their "Saturn Return".
I have become aware of the term just last January 1. What are the implications of being on a SATURN RETURN phase? I am just curious. If you have any idea, pls. share. Personally, I know I have been through a lot since I was 27 with regards to work, and if I am still in the Phase where SATURN RETURN has to do with it, I am just wondering why I now feel OK with work. By the way, I am 29, could it be possible that I am done with the phase?

It affects each of us differently. You start feeling the affects around age 27 but the actual return occurs around 29-30 years of age. If you get that itch telling you its time to quit partying, settle down, start a family, or if you are mooching off of your parents, to find a job and move out, thats Saturn basically giving you a message. Saturn is not about fun and games, its all work and no play. It all depends where Saturn is in your chart and what its aspecting. Some people become depressed during this time too, understandably so. And no you are not done with the phase because Saturn will be in retrograde as it is, and you'll experience it again, this time more intense unless you were born during Saturn rx...

Yes, I think too that I am not yet done with the phase. I hope it is not work related because right now I love my work. I mean, for the past two years I have been quite erratic with my work attitude and work behavior. Thus, my only concern is about work. Oh well, if it has to do with love life, I welcome most the changes. :)

I have never heard of this phenomenom before. It sounds very interesting and I would like to read more into it. I'm guessing a person's saturn return phase would be eventful-I'm not sure if it would be a pleasant eventful or a peaceful eventful though! I'm 24 so my saturn return phase isn't due for a few more years but the phrase reminds me of No Doubt's album from 2000 'Return of Saturn'. When this album came out, Gwen stefani would have been about 29 (i think? don't quote me on that) so it is very possible that the album would have been written while she was in her return of Saturn phase! This is interesting thanks for posting!

I think yeah, No Doubt referred this to gwen. It is just weird coz some of the internet resources say that Saturn Return greatly affects the female species. :D

Saturn returns are different for everybody, the one constant is that there will be changes and often they are out of your control. An example would be that the job you thought was what you wanted is taken from you or you may decide yourself to change jobs as you realise it isn't what you want.
It all depends on where Saturn is in your chart and what sign, as to what the changes will be. The only way is to ask an astrologer or even read some books on the subject to find out what you need to learn from Saturn.
