I was just talking to a consultant today about Shaklee. It sounds like an interesting product line and opportunity. Has anyone tried this? What were your experiences with the products and the business opportunity?

I hav a friend who has been "doing" shacklee for years and hasn't made a dime. She loves the products and believes in them, but she gets no help or support from her upline. I have been talking to her about what my husband and I have been doing and she's very interested in it and we're thinking she might switch. The one thing that is holding her back is that she has so much money already invested in Shacklee she would like to break even before she gets out. I say, cut your losses and move on! Check out my profile for the links to my web pages. I'd love to talk with you a bit if you'd like to hear more about it.

...Shaklee is one of the original prosumer businesses. They are big money makers. They have been around for a long time. ...After much research, there is one I prefer better. They have been around a long time too. They are fast growing, people and product oriented verses business and selling. The products are the best available. Quality is very high. ...It took McDonald's 24 years to make a billion dollars, world wide. It took direct marketing (Shaklee) 23 years. It took InterBiz and Quixtar 4 years and they made $1 billion in North America alone! ...Do you know who Robert Kiyosaki is? He is the author of RICH DAD/POOR DAD and CASH FLOW QUARDRANT. He recommends InterBiz. They are number one in the industry and have been for several years. ...Do you know who Frank Feather is? He is the man responsible for China having roads linking the provinces together. I have several of his books and have seen him speak twice. He is in InterBiz. ...If there is anything I know, I know if you want to become rich, you must hang out with the rich. If you want to become intelligent, you must hang out with the intelligent. ...InterBiz has much more to offer than Shaklee. You can go to quixtar.com and look around at their product line. To purchase at wholesale, please contact me. ...Peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della

I haven't tried Shaklee but I've heard about it. However, after much research we chose to start with Mona Vie. If you want more info you can add me as a friend and email me.

I think that it looks interesting, but I haven't tried it. Frankly, I'm a little hesitant about going into direct sales again. I didn't make much money with Avon, and Weekenders was good but a huge investment (thereby, I ended up not making money on it). I think that all direct sales opportunities require that you have a fairly extensive list of contacts. Otherwise, you are left hitting up the same people all of the time-- definitely not a good thing unless they are rich spendthrifts.
