As promised, I'll put a little more into the my thoughts part of this.
The entry is right, South Korean scientists are creating cloned pigs from stem cells. The main purpose for this is another step in organ transplanting and substitution for humans. From the reads, right now the pigs are miniature pigs (about 130 to 170 lbs or 60 to 80 kilograms) in order to closely match the sizes of human organs. Later research and projects involve genetically altering the pigs to reduce human rejection in organ transplanting cases.

With another research and breakthrough, Korea still remains a leader in the field of cloning and cloning research (with feats like the flourescent cat, cloning for cancer). This could well save many lives replacing organs that are far too damaged to even sustain life properly.
What do you all think of this? Think science maybe going too far? What about other needs and perspectives? People wait months, even years for organ transplants. Of course I think most about safety and ethics in all of this. Think the safety concerns with rejection and cloning animals for organs themselves will ever be resolved? Are we really supposed to do such things with life (be it the person or both the person and animals)?
