I love both, but if I had to choose I would always choose the books. There is just so much more going on in the books, more details and just more fun.

no.the movies are not at all at par with the books.the books are real classics.the image of harry potter and hogwarts that we get from the books are missing in the movies.

I love the Harry Potter movies. It took me forever to actually watch them after they came out, but once I did I was hooked. They are really good.
