Do you know how glad most of us here in Iowa will be to have the caucuses over?

For at least a year now we've been bombarded with ads for the different candidates. Apparently nothing else has been happening, because all our newscasts have been about are the caucuses. There are so many candidates in the running at this point in time, and they all run ads. Sometimes during a commercial break we have had up to 10 political ads. Not that we don't care who becomes president, but enough is enough. My husband and I are both thankful that all the candidates finally headed for the state of New Hampshire today.

I would be ecstatic if MOST of the incumbent's terms WERE OVER. Doesn't matter if the Democrat or Republican. I'd like to see them stop playing politics instead of taking care of business. I'm not happy with thier high paid games while jobs go overseas, energy prices escalate and 20% of our nation budget is squandered. Maybe, when the 'business as usual' candidates came in third place, it got attention. And I'm not even angry.

Might be a good move to support Huckaby if you would be interested in the "Fair Tax". Someone said that the "Fair Tax" would put 100,000 IRS agents out of a job. What a shame! I think irradication of cancer would too, but I'm all for it! To H*11 with politics at my expense.
