Keeping Marmite Handy

I always make sure I have a jar handy, especially as I no longer live in the UK. I think the taste is...unique. But, it is great for dealing with cramp in the legs. It actually is quite good when cheese sandwiches are dipped into a hot cup or it!

What the heck is Marmite? I need some "ed-u-ma-cation" since I'm not a brit. (LOL)

Sounds, ahhh, lovely? Can't think of anything like it in the lower 48 but will look for it the next time I'm at the International Market. Thanks for the bit of enlightenment.

I ADORE Marmite. I eat it pretty much everyday. A toasted bagel with butter, peanut butter and Marmite is my idea of heaven. Far better than Bovril! How does it help with leg cramps?! I've never heard of that!

Thanks for the response. I have no idea of why or how, but, as a young boy I would often suffer with leg cramps at night and my parents would make me a hot marmite drink(1 spoonfull of marmite and hot water) and it would help with the leg cramps. As I am now older, when I do a lot of physical execise(like a soccer tournament) I usually drink a cup of it and I do not get any issues with cramping.
