Gimme More Please?

Okay I whined about my being sick when we had all the deep freeze cold the other day. Now I am whining because we are in the midst of a semi heat wave here in Minnesota. It's going to be in the high 30's and low 40's with rain this weekend. I don't need nor want rain. I want snow dang it. Anyone got some snow in their area that they wished would go away? Id glady take it here in Minnesota. This photo is my mailbox. Just last week the snow was nearly to the bottom edge of it. A lot has melted in a few days. Gimme more snow please?

Be careful what you wish for my friend. There is a lot of winter left, and tons of snow no doubt. We are going to get the same heatwave over the weekend, it's going to be t-shirt weather on Monday. Maybe I can get out and clean the dog poo in the yard....WHEE!!!

I can handle a lot more snow.
It's not the same with rain predicted in January here.

haha I think i prefer the rain than the snow - at least I won't be as cold in the rain if I got wet. I hate the cold. Bring on the SUN Please hahahaha!

I'm hoarding my snow cause supposed to get in the 50's over the weekend with rain and gonna make snow go bye bye. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I want my snow!!!! You can't have mine!! :-P

I don't know, I don't mind the cold but I think I'll be happy for a small heat wave. I've spent a little too much time outside the last few weeks (not by choice). I always think that people that never experience 0 degree nights don't appreciate the nicer weather as much as we do.
I do hate when all the snow melts at one time and its slushy/muddy everywhere though.

Yeah the melting sucks. Especially because it freezes at night making the roads terrible for driving. Now the rain comes then snow next week. Going to be some nice slippery roads, bridges, and overpasses then.

Well mooch we get windchills in the 40 to 50 below zero at times here. I can even recall back in the 70's days where we were at 25 below zero temperature wise with 55 below windchills. Not fun at all. I didn't leave the house but for work those days. That is if my car started. HAHA

Becareful what you wish for, you just might get it. We have snow and frigid temps, I am looking forward to the heat wave coming and I am not crazy about the cold rain but I will take that over the cold snow and bad roads. It seems that everyone is sick over this way too. THINK SPRING!!!!

Sorry no snow for you!LOL We are getting some warm weather too. Tommorrow its going up to 55 and monday 60. Now thats just riduculous. Its suppose to be winter time. Well maybe if your good you will get some more snow!LOL I hope your wife is doing good and I know your doing good!heheheheh

You can have mine. I will ship it UPS if you pay the cost. Sorry to here that your snow is kind of melting away. That shouldn't be happening since the next ice age is starting this winter. (Al Gore told me). I think by the end of next week you will be very happy because a series of snow storms will be heading straight for Minnesota.

Hi Grandpa Bob,
Unfortunately, I can't help you out with the snow. Ours' has all melted here too, and today I'm looking out at yucky, brownish, trampled down grass.:( It's not natural for this time of year. I'd rather have winter the way it's supposed to be, even though I don't tolerate the cold very well anymore.

Well I hardly think I can send any snow you're way...we're in a tropical heat wave ourselves here in the Big Apple...today it was near 60, yes, 60 in January, and tomorrow it's supposed to be a record breaker in the mid to upper 60s...yikes. I was just getting used to the nice COLD weather snap we were having, and dressing like Nanook of the North, and today I had to get out my light jacket t wear when I went out

Sorry I don't have any snow to send your way. We have only had a dusting here this winter. The temperature here today was 71. So we are having a heat wave here in Southern Indiana as well. But I am sure it won't last long!
