so this question can seem normal, but it isn't!!in fact when i join or if i read the earning guidelines here seem that mylot give as value per post equal to 1cent (even if you start a discussion and every answer your discussion take or if you reply to another discussion by mylot user).Ok this is only the theory,in fact practically this earn plan is not true..such as i saw everyday mylot earnings and so they didn't give you 1 cent per post and i think that many here aware about that!!
so somebody discovered or better fixed a kind of earning plan per post truly, based under mylot activity?

I do think using the rating system for a good discussion increases the earnings. Not sure each post is worth 1 cent. Yesterday I answered tons of discussions and started a couple of discussions and only made about 50 cents. The day before I started about 6 discusions and answered a ton and the earnings was slightly higher, only a few pennies. I like being on the site so it's really not about the money.

The real value of a post is in the thoughts and the words used to express them.
Monetarily, I don't think you get two cents for giving your two cents in a response or for starting a discussion.
As with most sites like mylot, they have a "secret" algorithm that calculates the payouts and they claim that the constraints change and vary to protect their secret formula.
One thing about this site is that they state that earnings can and will be decreased through the formula when site management decides to delete discussions and /or responses they feel violate their terms of service or guidelines. So you loose if you make an improper post or response which is deleted, and they go so far as to penalize members if they made an acceptable response to someone else's discussion and that discussion is deleted.

I'm not quite sure with the earnings algorithm here. Sometimes it varies.
Based on my experience, sometimes the value of the responses and discussions differs.
When your response is useful and in a quality or descriptive manner, probably if I'm not mistaken, the value of it is higher. :-)

I don't think that is entirely true. If you respond to a thread with a 5 word answer, it's quite likely that you won't receive anything for the answer. However, if you answer a question with a 5 paragraph response, and the info is pertinant to the question, then it's quite likely you can earn more than .01 for your response.
How MyLot grades specific answers, is beyond me. But I'm not at MyLot for the the money (though it is a nice reward) I've learned a lot about the internet, chatted with other crafters and made many friendships

Wew, Dude. Thanx for this discussion. I need this one.
I have no idea too, how the system is. It's quite complicated, but I believe mylot.com is not cheating on us. But if you are realy curious about this, why don't you ask mylot.com via private massage and then inform me later. hehehe
okay, see you around. I just like this site.
