Sounds like an amazing site, who couldn't use a few things now and then or need to get rid of things? I need to check this site out. I don't think they are one close to me the closest is the next big town over which is 30 miles away not far if you have a car, which I don't. But still seems like a great site maybe I will get lucky and someone will have an old exercise bike I could have since I need one to help me keep on track with my resolutions. Thanks for the link I appreciate it alot..

Yippee! They actually have one close to where I live it is in Paintsville, Ky about 10 miles from me. Last time I checked out freecycle a few years ago they didn't have one in Paintsville so I am glad they finally are. My joining the freecycle group though is pending. Hopefully they will accept me. Thanks again for a great site. It will enable me to help those in need and for others to help me when I am in need.

Yes check it out. If there isn't one near you, you can even start a chapter yourself in your town.

I have gotten a few things from there. nothing spectacular, some baby clothes, however i failed to read the BOY part in the baby clothes offer, but i'm sure someone i know will have a boy so i am hanging on to them for a bit. And i got a TON of books. Most of them where not the type that i wanted, so i in turn donated them to the local second hand store that supports the job bank here ;0) Karma ;)

I had never heard of this, but I did check out the website, sounds like a pretty good thing. I'll have to start checking on there and see what comes up.

It's great, the ultimate recycling project. Please do join it's free. If you have anything you don't need you can post it on freecycle to have someone take it off your hands. If you're looking for something check them out.

I learned about freecycle a little over a year ago. It came in very handy when we were cleaning out our basement. It was good to find good homes for some things. Best thing I ever got? Well, I was so grateful someone had a cell phone when my son's got damaged. I loved picking up some sheet music and we always love books. I got a neat little coleman cooler. It's fun to give and it's fun to receive too. What a wonderful idea, and it's all because of these wonderful computers which now we cannot live without!

Gosh, I've got some pretty good stuff. Probably the biggest thing I got was a chest freezer, but I've also received a large dog house, small dining table/chairs, dresser, car ramps, lots of crafting supplies, miscellaneous kitchen items, mugs, etc.
